Shamba Lodge Cabin A

Yes. Cabin A is the largest cabin at Shamba Lodge and works well for different types of travellers. The upstairs loft has a large 2 × 2 metre wooden bed together with two discreet full size bunk beds. Couples can enjoy the extra space and privacy, while families or small groups can use the additional beds without feeling cramped.

Cabin A is arranged over two levels. The main floor has a spacious living area, dining space and a fully equipped self catering kitchen. Upstairs is the main sleeping area with the large bed and bunk beds. The cabin also has a private bathroom, outdoor decks and an upstairs balcony, giving you plenty of space to relax during your stay.

Yes. Cabin A has its own private bathroom with a large bathtub and plenty of hot water. This is especially useful after a long flight, safari drive or a full day exploring Arusha, as you can return to the cabin and properly relax in privacy.

Yes. Cabin A includes a fully equipped self catering kitchen, so guests can prepare their own meals, snacks, tea or coffee if they wish. There is also a dining area inside the cabin. If you prefer not to cook, Shamba Lodge also has its own restaurant serving local and international dishes.

Yes. One of the main advantages of Cabin A is its position overlooking Mount Meru and Sunset Valley. The cabin has outdoor decks on both the eastern and western sides, so you can enjoy different views throughout the day. The western deck is particularly nice in the evening when the sun sets over the valley.

Cabin A has access to a private plunge pool that can be filled on request. This can be particularly enjoyable during warmer months. Because the pool is optional, it is best to request it in advance if you would like it prepared for your stay.

Yes. Shamba Lodge has an on site restaurant serving a mixture of Tanzanian and international cuisine. The lodge describes its menu as seasonal and inspired by locally sourced ingredients. This means you can enjoy meals at the lodge without needing to travel back into Arusha City.
