Your tour begins in Stone Town, where you board a boat for the approximately 25–30-minute journey to Prison Island. On arrival, your guide takes you on an easy walk around the island, explains its history, and introduces you to the giant tortoises. After exploring, you have time to take photos, relax by the ocean, or enjoy optional swimming and snorkeling if sea conditions allow. You then return by boat to Stone Town, with the whole excursion taking approximately three hours, excluding hotel transfers.
