A hot air balloon flight in Tarangire is a peaceful and unforgettable way to see the park from above. The experience starts very early in the morning, before sunrise, when you are picked up and transferred to the launch site.

The flight usually lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour. As the sun rises, you drift quietly over Tarangire National Park, with panoramic views of the Tarangire River, baobab trees, open plains, and wildlife below. Depending on the day, you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other animals from the air.

After landing, the experience usually continues with a bush breakfast before you are transferred back. The full activity takes around 3 to 4 hours including pickup, balloon flight, breakfast, and drop-off.

Please wear warm clothes because the early morning can be cold. This activity requires a minimum of 4 passengers, and there is usually a weight limit of around 120 kg per person. The price is available on request.
