1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quotation, making a booking, submitting payment, using our website, or participating in any safari, tour, transfer, accommodation booking, flight booking, or related travel service offered by Tanzania Safari Experience (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

3. Booking Process

A booking is considered confirmed only when:

  • A required deposit or full payment has been received.
  • Tanzania Safari Experience issues written confirmation.

Availability is not guaranteed until confirmation is issued.

We reserve the right to decline any booking request before confirmation.


4. Accuracy of Information

The traveler is responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate, including:

  • Names
  • Passport details
  • Flight information
  • Nationality
  • Contact information
  • Medical information relevant to travel

The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect information supplied by travelers.


5. Pricing

All quotations are subject to availability until confirmed.

Prices may change before booking confirmation due to:

  • Accommodation rate changes
  • Government taxes
  • Park fee increases
  • Fuel surcharges
  • Airline charges
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Supplier pricing adjustments

Once confirmed, prices are generally guaranteed except where government fees or supplier-imposed charges increase after confirmation.


6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Deposit requirements vary depending on the safari and supplier requirements.
  • Final payment must be completed before travel begins.

Any bank fees, card processing fees, exchange fees, or transfer costs are the responsibility of the traveler.


7. Changes Requested by Travelers

Requests to modify confirmed bookings may result in:

  • Additional charges
  • New supplier fees
  • Fare differences
  • Administrative fees

Changes are subject to availability.


8. Changes by Tanzania Safari Experience

We may modify itineraries when necessary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Lodge availability
  • Park regulations
  • Flight schedule changes
  • Operational requirements

Where possible, equivalent alternatives will be arranged.

Such changes do not automatically entitle travelers to compensation.


9. Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Refunds are governed by our published Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Certain services may be partially or fully non-refundable, including:

  • Domestic flights
  • Charter flights
  • Special permits
  • National park permits
  • Accommodation deposits
  • Third-party supplier fees

Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers and suppliers.


10. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Coverage should include:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Trip interruption
  • Trip cancellation
  • Personal liability
  • Lost baggage
  • Flight disruptions

Travelers are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance.


11. Health Requirements

Travelers are responsible for:

  • Obtaining required vaccinations
  • Following medical advice
  • Carrying necessary medications
  • Meeting entry requirements

Failure to comply with health requirements remains the traveler’s responsibility.


12. Wildlife Disclaimer

Safari activities involve wild animals in their natural habitat.

Wildlife behavior is unpredictable.

Tanzania Safari Experience cannot guarantee:

  • Specific wildlife sightings
  • The Great Migration location
  • Predator encounters
  • Weather conditions
  • Animal behavior

No refunds shall be issued based solely on wildlife sighting expectations.


13. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Disease outbreaks
  • Pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • Civil unrest
  • Political instability
  • Terrorism
  • Airline disruptions
  • Road closures
  • Extreme weather

Refunds in such cases will be limited to recoverable amounts received from suppliers.


14. Third-Party Suppliers

The Company works with independent suppliers, including:

  • Hotels
  • Lodges
  • Camps
  • Airlines
  • Charter operators
  • Ground transportation providers

While we carefully select suppliers, we are not liable for their independent acts, omissions, delays, failures, or operational decisions.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanzania Safari Experience shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Consequential damages
  • Missed flights
  • Missed connections
  • Personal expenses
  • Loss of enjoyment
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Delays caused by third parties

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid directly to Tanzania Safari Experience for the affected services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.


16. Assumption of Risk

Travelers acknowledge that safari travel involves inherent risks, including:

  • Wildlife encounters
  • Uneven terrain
  • Remote locations
  • Vehicle travel
  • Adventure activities

Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the traveler’s own risk.

Travelers agree to follow all safety instructions issued by guides and staff.


17. Traveler Conduct

We reserve the right to remove any traveler from a tour without refund if their conduct:

  • Endangers others
  • Violates local laws
  • Damages property
  • Harasses staff or other guests
  • Interferes with operations

Additional costs resulting from such conduct remain the traveler’s responsibility.


18. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Itineraries

is owned by Tanzania Safari Experience or used under license.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or republished without written permission.


19. Website Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Submit false inquiries
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Upload malicious software
  • Copy website content without permission
  • Interfere with website operations

We reserve the right to restrict access where misuse occurs.


20. Complaints

Any issues occurring during travel should be reported immediately to:

  • Your guide
  • Tanzania Safari Experience management

This allows us an opportunity to resolve the matter promptly.


21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.


22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
