Serval Wildlife is a luxury wildlife park and villa resort in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, designed for travelers who want to experience African wildlife at very close range while staying in a private, comfortable setting. Unlike a traditional safari lodge inside a national park, Serval Wildlife combines luxury accommodation with managed wildlife encounters, giving guests opportunities to see animals such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other species around the property.
The villas are named after different animals, including Giraffe, Zebra, Cheetah, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Kudu, Rhino, Wildebeest and Oryx. The name of your villa does not determine which animals you can experience. Animals move around the property, and staying guests have access to the wildlife experiences available during their visit. Some villas, including the Giraffe, Zebra and Cheetah Villas, also feature bathtubs where guests may enjoy the setting while giraffes approach the villa area.
A standard villa accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children under 12 and includes a king size bed, breakfast and access to the wildlife experience. Depending on the animals, weather and daily conditions, guests may have opportunities for supervised feeding and close wildlife encounters. Lions are not available for normal petting or feeding, and activities involving animals are always dependent on their condition and the instructions of Serval Wildlife staff. Overnight guests can also enjoy experiences such as a movie under the stars, and additional romantic, birthday, honeymoon and private dining arrangements can be organized at extra cost.
Does Serval Wildlife provide airport transfers?
Yes. Private transfer services can be arranged.
Serval Wildlife lists transfer options from Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Airport, Moshi and Arusha Town.
Transfer prices depend on your pickup or drop off location.
If you are booking Serval Wildlife as part of a complete Tanzania itinerary, transfers can also be incorporated into your safari arrangement.
Serval Wildlife works especially well as an extension before or after a Northern Tanzania safari. Instead of another full game drive, it gives you a completely different type of wildlife experience where you can slow down, take photographs and spend more time close to the animals. Additional excursions such as Materuni Waterfalls, Kikuletwa Hot Springs and Maasai cultural visits can also be combined with your stay, making Serval Wildlife a good choice for couples, honeymooners, families and travelers looking for a more relaxed luxury wildlife experience near Mount Kilimanjaro.
